Preferred Choice in Cholestatic Liver disorders

Ursodeoxycholic acid (UDFORD) is a bile acid which is produced naturally by the body. It works by reducing the amount of cholesterol released by your liver and by slowly dispersing the cholesterol. UDFORD blocks the enzyme in the liver that produces cholesterol and thereby decreases production of cholesterol by the liver and the amount of cholesterol in bile.

Ursodeoxycholic acid (UDFORD) is a bile acid used for the treatment of primary biliary cirrhosis (PBC), dissolution of radiolucent gallstones in patients with a functioning gallbladder, and treatment of hepatobiliary disorders associated with cystic fibrosis in pediatric patients.
